Panties can be used for personal hygiene, just like underwear. There is a wide veriety of panties. Control top, high-cut, both of which are cut a little higher on the hip, they slightly pull to shape the stomach.

One type growing in popularity is the thong which is designed to hide pany lines.

Materials used to make panties include nylon, lace, silk, pvc, satin, and a various amount of other fabrics. Picking out panties isn't as easy as most people would think. There are so many materials and different styles to choose from, like the above mentioned ones.

The most important factor to decide which panties to pick out is you need to know what size you are. Panty size isn't the same as pant size, so just because you are a certain pant size doesn't mean that, is your lingerie and panty size.
